First Semester Summary
Quality of Work:
This class was the first digital art class I have taken ever. I feel as though the quality of work and effort I have put in has increased with each project. All of my projects have been turned in on time and with correct formating. I try my best to come up with original ideas that will challenge my skills a little more than the last.
Effort:
When planning and completing my projects I feel as though I take some conceptual and creative risks. Most risks taken don't work out, but at least I tried. I enjoy walking around and seeing what my classmates have accomplish because lots of their projects are amazing. On the other hand I can see that I am behind in my skill set and it is a little discouraging but that only means there is room for improvement.
Participation:
Every day other than when I am absent I am on time to class and ready to work. I use my headphones to help me block out everything around me. Most days I work all the way through the block but others I work on other classwork. That being said I do not let the time I spend on other classwork get in the way of completing my digital art projects.
Improvement:
I would not say that I have defined my style but I enjoy my last project because it has many abstract elements an is collage like. Looking back at previous projects I have incorporated other abstract elements and I like that style a lot. I would say I have improved technically saying that I have never taken a digital art class before and didn't know a single thing walking into class. With each project I have become more and more confident with my skills.
Adjustment:
Net semester I will continue to expand my skill set but also be more precise in my projects and make sure they look a little more clean. I really enjoyed drawing my last Project so I can see myself doing that again. I hope to do a project that is a self reflection of yourself but is portrayed in the way of a self portrait.
